Robert Half Customer Service Representative in Wilmington, North Carolina

Description We are offering an employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in Wilmington, North Carolina. The successful candidate will be joining our team to handle customer service and data entry tasks in the logistics sector. This role does not require permanent or full-time commitment, but instead offers a flexible work arrangement.

Responsibilities:

• Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and patience

• Utilize computer data entry skills to input customer information and track interactions

• Operate basic office equipment as part of daily tasks

• Leverage Microsoft tools to maintain and organize data effectively

• Provide exceptional customer service, aiming to exceed customer expectations

• Collaborate with team members to achieve shared goals and maintain smooth operations

• Continually improve knowledge of company's logistics processes

• Contribute to a positive and productive workplace environment

• Assist in training new team members as needed

• Resolve customer credit inquiries and monitor credit accounts. Requirements • Proficiency in using basic office equipment such as photocopiers, scanners, and printers

• Demonstrated basic office skills including filing, sorting, and managing paperwork

• Strong customer service skills with a focus on satisfaction and retention

• Proficient in computer data entry with a high level of accuracy and speed

• Experience in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle customer complaints effectively

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team as well as independently

• High school diploma or equivalent is required

• Previous experience in a customer service role is a plus.
