Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Job Description

We are looking for a Maintenance Mechanic to perform routine and preventative maintenance on machinery in an industrial printing facility. The ideal candidate will have experience working in an industrial setting, with skills in pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and an electro-mechanical aptitude. The role involves ensuring that all equipment runs properly and performing preventative maintenance tasks. Responsibilities also include working on motors and motion controls.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on industrial machinery.

  • Ensure all equipment is running properly.

  • Work on motors and motion controls.

  • Utilize skills in pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.

  • Maintain and follow maintenance schedules.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in industrial manufacturing maintenance.

  • Skills in electro-mechanical equipment.

  • Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems and pumps.

  • Ability to read mechanic drawings.

  • Troubleshooting skills.

  • Attention to detail for maintenance schedules.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Preferred experience with PLCs and ISO quality systems.

  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing is a plus.

Work Environment

The work hours are a ten-hour shift starting at either 8am or 9am, Monday to Thursday. The facility is an industrial printing environment.
