DESCRIPTION:

Contribute within agile team responsible for providing technology solutions for M&T’s operations division; designing, building and maintaining efficient, reusable, and reliable code using Java, Spring Boot, Gradle, Ant, Maven, Eclipse, Intellij, Cobertura, Checkstyle, Sonar, GIT, SVN; develop application using Apache Kafka, Active MQ and JMS; using SQL Databases including Oracle, Microsoft SQL, Ping LDAP; using NOSQL Database including MongoDB, Cassandra, Couchbase and Redis; using Cloud environment tools, including Microsoft Azure, AWS and PCF; building generic frameworks using Java Design Patterns, Spring/SpringBoot, and Drools Rule Engine; identify technology opportunities, gather requirements, prioritize work, design, and deliver technology solutions; develop Machine Learning Models for intelligently extracting data from PDF and TIF file formats using Python; provide responsive applications which can handle loads of varying nature; design software solutions using Microservices, Circuit Breaker, API Gateway, and Eureka; build application dashboards for traffic and exception analysis using Vector, Logstash, FluentD, JMX, AppDynamics, Grafana, Kibana; and coordinating and communicating with dependent teams using Jira and Rally.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, any Engineering or a related technical field, and six (6) years of experience designing, building and maintaining reusable code using Java, Spring Boot, Gradle, Ant, Maven, Eclipse, Intellij, Cobertura, Checkstyle, Sonar, GIT, and SVN; developing applications using Apache Kafka, Active MQ and JMS; building generic frameworks using Java Design Patterns, Spring/SpringBoot, and Drools Rule Engine; developing Machine Learning Models using Python; designing software solutions using Microservices, Circuit Breaker, API Gateway, Eureka; using SQL Databases including Oracle, Microsoft SQL, and Ping LDAP; and using NOSQL Databases including MongoDB, Cassandra, Couchbase and Redis.
