Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $19.50 - $24 / hour*

What you'll be doing as a Utility Trailer Rig Driver:

• Operate a UTR to transport containers, trailers, and materials within the warehouse and yard

• Ensure the timely and safe movement of freight between loading and unloading areas

• Assist in organizing and maintaining warehouse inventory

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on equipment to ensure proper functioning

• Adhere to all workplace safety guidelines, including wearing required PPE (vest, hard hat, steel-toe boots)

• Communicate effectively with warehouse staff, supervisors, and truck drivers to coordinate movement

• Support general warehouse operations, including sorting, stacking, and loading materials as needed

• Report any mechanical issues or safety hazards immediately to the supervisor

Shift timings - 1st Shift (Day)

Job requirements:

• Previous experience operating a UTR, yard goat, or similar heavy equipment preferred

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

• Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics

• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong attention to safety protocols and procedures

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions

• Must be available to work flexible hours, including potential overtime
