What you’ll do
As directed by a registered nurse or therapist, you will provide personal care and various services for home health patients throughout several counties, including health care, nutritional services, mobility assistance, bathroom assistance, medications, light housekeeping and running errands. We’ll rely on you to observe, report and document patient status and offer empathetic support to patients and their families.
What it takes
One year experience as a home health aide in a Medicare-certified home health or hospice agency preferred
High school diploma or equivalent
Must pass our written proficiency examination and skills test
Successful completion of the nurse aide competency evaluation program
Reliable vehicle (you’ll use your own car), valid driver’s license, insurance and acceptable driving record
