Aerotek Maintenance Technician in Willoughby, Ohio

Job Title: Maintenance Technician | 3rd Shift | $28.75 + Shift Differential

Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing furnaces and equipment in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and specifications. You will also maintain and repair plant buildings and structures, install and troubleshoot building electrical systems and electronic equipment, and maintain various mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, piping, refrigeration, and chemical systems.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair all furnaces and equipment following diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and specifications.

  • Maintain and repair plant buildings and structures.

  • Install and troubleshoot building electrical systems and electronic equipment.

  • Install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair all mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, piping, refrigeration, and chemical systems on all equipment and buildings.

  • Read and log all meters on equipment.

  • Perform and document preventive maintenance on all meters, gauges, recorders, charts, filters, belts, grease fittings, quench oil levels, lubrication levels, thermocouple checks, furnace internals, furnace mechanisms, safety devices, etc.

Essential Skills

  • Minimum 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience.

  • Strong mechanical skills, with expertise in hydraulics and pneumatics.

  • Ability to work with 480v electrical systems.

  • Comfortable working in a heavy industrial and hot work environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Electrical troubleshooting and maintenance.

  • Welding and fabrication skills.

  • PLC troubleshooting.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

  • Experience with preventive maintenance and repair.

Work Environment

The work environment involves specialized vacuum heat treating, brazing, and hot isostatic pressing services for advanced manufacturers. The facility operates with dozens of vacuum furnaces and other thermal processing equipment using world-class process controls. The Cleveland Division holds AS9100 quality management system and Nadcap accreditation, making it well-suited for aerospace and power generation industries. This position is for the 3rd shift (10:30 PM - 7:00 AM) with a shift differential of $1.20/hr and includes working every other Saturday.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Willoughby, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $59800.00 - $62296.00

o 401k - paulo puts in 3%, if team member contributes 5%, paulo will give extra 2.5%

o Benefits after 30 days
