FREIGHT AUDIT & RATE TECHNICIAN - CORPORATE OFFICE - FLEXIBLE (AUSTIN OR WILLMAR, MN) (2 OPENINGS)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Reviews, identifies, verifies and corrects freight bills that do not match the expected accrued amount that is in the TMS for all modes of transport, both domestic & international. This includes the ability to understand tariff language.

• Maintains timely and accurate voucher records in the TMS, including correcting voucher and invoice errors that occur during loading.

• Is responsible for auditing all manual invoices that have not been accrued or paid for. These invoices are reviewed for validity and checked for rate issues.

• Support the freight pay team by handling support of various functions surrounding the freight payment process.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required

• Ability to initiate appropriate action independently and efficiently.

• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Excel (experience navigating through and creating spreadsheets with formulas).

• Proven ability to multitask with a high degree of accuracy.

• Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills.

• Detail focused, highly developed, and demonstrated organizational ability.

• Demonstrated ability to learn and use custom computer programs.

• Demonstrated strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills, both internal and external. This includes the ability to communicate with clarity and diplomacy with time sensitive/challenging issues.
