Overview
Utilizes the nursing process to identify patient needs and priorities of care through assessment, planning, and delegation of care based on patient needs, therapeutic interventions, and evaluation of the patient’s response. Is held accountable for policies and procedures of the department and organization. This position supports the mission, vision, and philosophy of CommonSpirit Health.

We are offering a $20,000 Sign-On Bonus in addition to $5,000 relocation to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.
Responsibilities
Assesses patient’s health and continuously monitors; completes Comprehensive Interdisciplinary Patient Assessments; detect changes and take action as necessary; and quickly and accurately assess patient care needs
Responds to life saving situations based upon nursing standards, policies, procedures, and protocol
Sets priorities in plan of care based on assessed needs and anticipates personnel, supplies, and equipment required to care for patients based on assessed needs
Works collaboratively with provider to provide exceptional care
Administers medications, IV therapy, and treatments in compliance with policies and procedures
Provides patient and family education
Records all care information concisely, accurately and completely, in a timely manner, in the appropriate format and on the appropriate forms
Maintains order, stock, and cleanliness of all areas in the Dialysis Unit
Practices safe work habits, compliance with safety rules and regulations, and adheres to safety policies
Utilizes resources appropriately and follows facility guidelines, policies, and procedures
Qualifications
Education for Staff Job Levels
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing, required.
Licensure and Certifications
RN, North Dakota or compact license, required.
BLS-CPR required.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong oral communications skills
Ability to deal with conflict and difficult people
Strong critical thinking skills
Knowledge of all regulatory agencies and their standards and processes
Ability to manage multiple priorities
Minimum Experience
- Dialysis RN experience preferred

Pay Range
$29.16 - $42.28 /hour
