Join Us in Transforming Lives!Maxine’s House is a residential program providing a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for children between the ages of 5 to 12. Our residents may have experienced trauma, abuse, neglect, or challenging life circumstances. Maxine’s house was designed to help children heal and grow by providing them with therapeutic care, education, and life training skills.ResponsibilitiesProvides direct care and supports to up to five residents, including supervision, meal preparation and transportation to appointments and activities.Assists with the development and implementation of individualized treatment for each resident.Collaboratives with team members to ensure consistent and effective delivery of therapeutic care.Participates in staff meetings, trainings, and other career development activities.Maintains accurate and complete resident records, including progress notes and incident reports.Benefits and RewardsMedical, Dental, and Vision benefits401k, Life & Disability InsuranceGenerous Paid Time Off (PTO)Paid Training & Career AdvancementA Great Team EnvironmentWe offer our team members DailyPay!Wellness Program & moreQualificationsBachelor’s degree in social work, psychology with one year experience providing direct care to youth in a behavioral health agency or institutional setting.; We will consider applicants with High School diplomas that can show at least three (3) years’ experience providing direct care to youth in a behavioral health agency or institutional setting.Minimum age requirement of 21 years.Possession of a valid driver's license.Physical & Drug Screening, Criminal Record History, FBI and Child Abuse History ClearancesIn addition, the ideal Youth Support WorkerIs knowledgeable of child development, behavior management, and therapeutic techniques.Can work both independently and as part of a team.Will exhibit excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Has a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.WHO WE ARE: Crossroads Programs, an affiliate of Apis Services Inc., is a nonprofit 501c3 behavioral health agency celebrating 40 years in service.
