Gateway Longview’s Residential Treatment Services is a therapeutic intervention for youth ages 12-18 and supports them in developing the skills needed to successfully live with their families or in the community.

Primary Responsibilities
Monitor day to day functioning of the residential units
Work directly with Youth Care Professionals to ensure continuity of therapeutic services
Respond to and Oversee all conflict resolution situations
Create a professional working environment through direct supervision of Youth Care Professionals
Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner
Fulfill other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Current NYS Driver’s License
Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends
Ability to build rapport with youth based on healthy boundaries, effective communication and mutual respect
Ability to demonstrate sensitivity, compassion, patience, and active listening
Ability to effectively work with individuals from a diverse array of cultural backgrounds, beliefs, customs, and lifestyles
Ability to physically restrain if required
Preferred Qualifications
Associate's Degree in Human Services, Criminal Justice, Sociology, Psychology, Theology, Social Work
2 years related experience and 1 year of supervisory experience in Human Services
Demonstrated experience working with youth in professional or volunteer capacity
