Living Legends Health Business Office Assistant in WILLIAMSVILLE, New York

Description

Business Office Assistant:

Pay rate $16-19 hour

Monday - Friday

Shift : 8am-4pm

Census:

  • Update PCC dashboard residents (demographics).

  • Verify that all residents have an assigned Responsible Party with an address and phone number.

  • Set up Payer Tree and payer changes.

  • Update authorizations and care levels in PCC.

  • Reconcile daily census (admit, discharge, room change,…).

  • Reconcile monthly census and send to the Billing Office.

  • Prepare daily census report and distribute via email.

Resident Trust Process:

  • Manage resident spending account (Trust Account) for all residents.

  • Collect and post deposits to account including social security check direct deposit.

  • Cash deposit with bank weekly to reimburse Resident Petty Cash Account and deposit cash received.

  • Pay resident’s miscellaneous bills (beauty shop, insurance premium, cable, phone,…).

  • Post interest to accounts.

  • Send quarterly statements. If account balance is low/negative, send as needed.

  • Maintain resident cash box.

  • Prepare/Balance monthly reconciliation and forward to your Resident Account Coordinator along with bank statement.

Filing:

  • File as needed.

Scanning:

  • Scan all pertinent documents in PCC.

  • Scan all deposits posted.

    Open Mail:

  • Open, review and distribute all mail received by the Business Office.
