Shift/Pay:

• Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

• $21.00/hr-$24.00/hr

Description:

• Prepare parts and products for coating by cleaning and masking them.

• Operate powder coating equipment and ensure it is in good working order.

• Apply powder coating material evenly onto prepared metal surfaces.

• Inspect the coated surfaces for any defects and touch up as needed.

• Maintain records of the coating process.

• Install the framed silk screen onto the printer and adjust the holding fixture.

• Silk screen letters and numbers onto metal surfaces.

• Guide the printing process and use various hand tools to ensure desired results.

• Maintain and repair equipment as needed.

• Clean the ink off the screens after use.

• Complete other tasks related to the smooth operation of the printers.

Qualifications/Skills:

• Skilled in powder coating techniques.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

• Knowledge of different types of powder coatings and their applications.

• Familiarity with different types of spraying equipment.

• Ability to perform routine maintenance on equipment.

• Attention to detail and good communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Some powder coating experience, even if minimal.

• Ability to learn how to silk screen on metal surfaces.

• Experience with hand tools and sprayers.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr.
