Aston Carter Junior Buyer in Williamsport, Pennsylvania

We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Buyer to join our procurement team.

Job Description:

As an Entry-Level Buyer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our procurement operations. You will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials and products required for our business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start their career in procurement and supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in sourcing and selecting suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery capabilities.

  • Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to secure the best possible deals.

  • Place purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials and products.

  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse team to maintain optimal stock levels.

  • Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and products.

  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other relevant data.

  • Collaborate with other departments to understand their procurement needs and provide support as required.

  • Resolve any issues related to orders, deliveries, or quality of products.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

  • Prior experience or internships in procurement or supply chain management is a plus but not required.
