About This Role

PC&L intern will be assigned short term project(s), that focus on Lycoming’s ISC strategies.

Job Responsibilities:

• Identifypotential out of balance conditions between supply and demand over the planning horizon.This includesidentifyingcritical long pole shortages,capacityconstraints and/or schedule imbalances resulting in an unrealistic flow rate.

• Responsible for coordinating actions necessary to align supply to demand.This could result in coordinating actions with Procurement, Manufacturing, Operations Management, etc.

• Supplies directional input to the individual production and refurbishment cells based on informational analysis and direct interface with Planning Manager.

• Accountable for managing the shop loads and developing plans for balancing critical resources.

Qualifications

• Student should be pursuing a B.S in integrated supply chain or related degree.

• Proficiencywith Microsoft Word and Excel, familiarity with PowerPoint and Microsoft Teams.
