Job Description

Prepares food for patients, employees, visitors, and special functions. Maintains a customer service approach at all times when fulfilling responsibilities. Prepares breakfast, lunch, and dinner foods using standardized recipes and methods of preparation. Documents preparation and usage of food according to established standards. Maintains all quality, safety, and sanitation standards, ensuring all items are wrapped, stored, and labeled properly during all phases of production.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.

Work Environment

The kitchen is very large, state-of-the-art commercial kitchen. The position involves a floating shift with a start time between 5:30am - 11:30am, and an end time between 2pm - 8pm. Work every other weekend and every other holiday, averaging 40 hours per week with some opportunity for overtime.
