  • Performs inspections of company products to determine conformance with specifications.
  • Utilizes precision measurement equipment.
  • Processes associated documentation, including process tags, rework tags and non-conforming material documents.
  • Works under direct supervision and in accordance with instructions and techniques.
  • Performs inspections, as well as In-Process, Receiving and Final inspections of parts and assemblies in accordance with applicable Engineering criteria, documents and drawings.
  • Create and Complete First Article Inspection Reports per customers requirements.
  • Performs inspections using coordinate measuring machine (CMM).
  • Performs functional testing of assemble units.
  • Coordinates calibration activities and maintain records of various tools, instruments and gauges used for Product acceptance or Verification/Validation.
  • Assists Engineering and Operations in the investigation of non-conformities.
  • Maintains a safe and clean work environment by following guidelines and procedures, and complying with all applicable regulations.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and manufacturing sites can be loud. Requires wearing appropriate PPE in certain areas of the workplace.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Eyesight correctable to 20/20 is required.
