Industrial equipment sales representative for downstream petroleum equipment company.

We are a 78-year-old family-owned wholesale equipment distribution business looking to add an industrial equipment salesperson to our team. We are driven by an established set of values which are in place to guide decisions and bring value to all stakeholders.

Position requirements:

1. Strong relationship building skills

2. Effective communication skills

3. Ability to read and understand blueprints, project plans, and other bid documents

4. Understanding of mechanical processes

5. Valid drivers license

Position responsibilities:

1. Maintain and grow existing customer base

2. Meet sales targets established with management team

3. Assist customer base in finding and selecting correct equipment to meet customer need

4. Supplying complex technical information to customer base in a way that is easy to understand

5. Keep customer base informed about new products and services

6. Assist quoting team with quote preparation and presentation
