Job Title: Warehouse Worker

Job Description

We have a 2nd shift opening from 3pm-11:30pm onsite. We are seeking a warehouse worker with forklift experience, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution type setting. The candidate will be responsible for moving products and parts for customers, handling work orders, conducting cycle counts, and occasionally lifting items up to 50 pounds. An inventory control and knowledge of handheld devices for reading and interpreting work orders are required.

Responsibilities

  • Operate a forklift to move products and parts around the warehouse.

  • Handle and fulfill work orders as per customer expectations.

  • Perform cycle counting to ensure inventory accuracy.

  • Lift items weighing up to 50 pounds as needed.

  • Use handheld devices to track and manage inventory.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Essential Skills

  • 2+ years of recent forklift experience in a manufacturing or distribution warehouse setting.

  • Active driver's license.

  • 1+ years of recent experience with inventory control or using scanner guns for tracking work orders.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with RF scanners.

  • Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes.

  • Material handling experience.

  • Water Strider experience.

Work Environment

This position is located onsite at the East side location in Building 20. The work environment is similar to a DB Schenker type role, and the dress code includes jeans, a T-shirt, and closed-toed shoes (steel-toed shoes are preferred but not required). The shift is from 3pm-11:30pm, Monday through Friday. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is available but not required in this area.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of WICHITA, Kansas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.60 - $18.60/hr.
