Kansas Paving / Kansas Ready Mix in Wichita, Kansas is expanding our fleet again which has created a new position for a move truck driver.

The right person for this position will have experience with loading, unloading, chaining, unchaining, and moving heavy equipment for construction sites.

Experience driving a lowboy is extremely helpful!

Class A CDL is needed for this position! We are urgently hiring and we are hiring immediately!

We also are looking for Class A or B CDL Drivers for the following positions:

for our dump trucks

Dump Truck Drivers for our Dump Trucks

Tandem Drivers for our tandems

Move Truck Drivers to move equipment

Roll-Off Drivers

Rough Haul Drivers for our large Dump Trucks

Cement / Concrete Ready Mix Drivers to drive concrete / cement mixers.

Boom Truck Operators (part-time)

We will also train drivers that have experience with other types of class A and B equipment; such as: roll off, oilfield, waste hauling, etc.

These positions are for a local CDL driver / local truck driver, or simply a CDL truck driver.

All work is local, you will be home daily and best of all no log books to deal with!

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED preferred but not required
• Must have a valid Class A or Class B CDL (not permit)
• Proof of clean driving record for last 3 years with no moving violations or accidents, No DWI, DUI or reckless driving convictions
• Must be willing to work some Saturdays if needed
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening
• Must have medical card, or ability to obtain one before driving

Responsibilities Include:

• Perform daily pre and post-trip inspections and report items in need of repair or maintenance
• Operate vehicle in a safe and controlled manner
• Create and submit daily driver logs and vehicle inspections electronically
• Follow all safety policies and procedures
• Ability to work Monday through Friday, and occasional Saturdays, days, nights, and weekends as needed to meet project deadlines
• Able to work in adverse weather conditions, hot or cold temperatures
• Other duties as assigned, some general labor duties
• Follow DOT, State and local traffic laws
• Report road incidents to management and follow accident procedures
