Description
JOB SUMMARY:
Create structural repair and modification documentation including detailed repair instructions and substantiation analysis in support of FAA certification for all Textron Aviation Propeller and Jet aircraft models.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Review damage data, Engineering Drawings and Digital Data to ensure efficient load path and adequate structural strength and stiffness for repairs and modifications.Interface with Customers, Customer Service, and Service Center Personnel.Coordinate cross functionally to support business needs.Develop detailed repair installation procedures.Provide Engineering recommendations for minor repair development and dispositions.Develop Standard Repairs to be published in Field SRMs.Analyze modification packages to ensure adequate structural strength and substantiate for certification requirements.Utilize Finite Element Software to solve complex structural problems.Prepare Structural Reports in support of FAA compliance findings on aircraft repairs and modifications.
Qualifications
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree required in:
Aerospace Engineering
Mechanical Engineering
Other related field
QUALIFICATIONS:
Professional and diplomatic demeanor
Strong sense of accountability and integrity
Time management skills to support multiple concurrent projects
Must be able to manage projects of various size and scope.
Must be proficient in MS Office and CATIA.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
Previous test experience preferred
