Metal Arts Machine Co. is currently seeking an entry-level deburr operatorto join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for operating a variety of power and hand tools as well as deburring equipment to remove burrs, nicks, scratches, and rough and sharp edges.\ \

Job Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of power/hand tools and standard deburr equipment to remove burrs, nicks, scratches, and rough and sharp edges
• Select files or abrasives according to materials, sizes and shapes of workpieces
• Visually check parts for compliance to quality and workmanship standards
• Requires close visual attention while work is in progress to prevent damage to parts or equipment
• Ensure that standard procedures are followed in all aspects of work, including tool set-up and operation, process verification, product inspection, documentation and material handling
• Responsible only for own work
• Perform other related duties as required
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and hand tools, determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed
