Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Flight begins with you at Spirit AeroSystems, a place where you can explore your interests and grow your career by working on impactful projects. The Human Resources intern will be assigned to a specialized area of the human resources organization such as talent development, talent acquisition, diversity equity & inclusion, benefits & compensation, or labor relations.

As a Human Resources intern you can expect to:

  • Work with functional team members on assigned

  • Conduct research, benchmarking and stakeholder interviews

  • Assess data and information, create recommendations

  • Solve problems, negotiate and prioritize work

  • Collaborate with others within the company to help inform a solution

  • Interface with various levels of leadership

  • Gain exposure to all functions within human resources

    Also, should you be selected as a 2025 Spirit AeroSystems Summer Intern, you will have exposure to several activities including:

  • Multiple Manufacturing Plant Tours

  • Professional development workshops

  • Project Expo (An opportunity to present an intern project for Executive Leaders)

  • Social/Networking Events

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • You must be a US Person (US Citizen or US Permanent Resident)

  • You must be enrolled full time in a university degree program aligned to the area of internship.

  • You must be a current sophomore, junior, senior or graduate student in good academic standing.
