2025 Internship - Sales Operations - Aftermarket

JOB SUMMARY:

Interns will work with the Sales Operation team to support sales management and field salespersons from headquarters. This role will provide the opportunity to communicate with potential customers regarding aircraft sales and marketing matters.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Be aware of domestic and international operating/certification regulations

• Translate customer requests into product solutions

• Work with Aftermarket Engineering and external suppliers to ensure requirements are accurately implemented

• Create material, labor, downtime, and lead-time estimates

• Research and assess competitive avionics offerings and pricing

• Support Aftermarket Business Development with feedback from customer avionics desires

• Assist the sales team in communicating effectively with customers to identify opportunities and explain solutions

Qualifications

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

Pursuing bachelor’s degree in Aviation, Business Management, Engineering, or other related field

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proficient skills with Microsoft Office products

• Professional and diplomatic demeanor

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Acts with customer expectations and requirements in mind

Applicants must be authorized to work lawfully in the U.S. for Textron Aviation at the time of making application, and visa sponsorship is not available for this position, including for F-1 students and J-1 exchange visitors who will need employment sponsorship.

Summer internships are 40 hours per week typically from late-May to early-August lasting 10 weeks.

Candidates must be able to work onsite for the entirety of the internship program unless approved otherwise by the hiring manager.
