Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to maintain our financial records, including cash receipts and customer records. Ideal candidate will have the ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships with customers and staff, as well as the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date billing system.

• Generate and send out invoices and monthly statements to customers.

• Carry out billing, collection and reporting activities according to specific deadlines.

• Perform account reconciliations.

• Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities.

• Investigate and resolve customer queries related to billing.

• Post and verify payments received.

• Process adjustments, refunds, transfer bills, and cancellations when necessary.

• Reconcile accounts receivables ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.

  Requirements

• Three+ years experience in Accounts Receivable.

• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations.

• Proficiency in Excel, and familiarity with relevant accounting software.

• Must possess strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to prioritise and manage expectations.

• Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
