SALARY: Hiring $27,616 Min $28,995 to Max $41,423 GRADE 59

Duties:

Assist the dentist chair side during patient care. perform dental procedures as assigned by dentist, perform coronal polishing, perform oral hygiene instructions, apply topical fluoride, process and mount dental radiographs, perform asepsis procedures as per OSHA guidelines, document in patient electronic dental records, maintenance and care of dental equipment and instruments, securing dental equipment and supplies in preparation for a move of the mobile dental clinic, follow daily, weekly, bi-monthly, monthly, quarterly and yearly infection control and equipment maintenance protocols

Minimum Training and Experience: Graduation from an approved dental assistant course; or graduation from high school and one year of on the job training as a dental assistant, and required x-ray training when needed.
