JOB REQUIREMENTS: The purpose of this position is to perform cost accounting, to properly allocate department wages, equipment and project numbers to all State, County and Municipal road projects/construction, to maintain and monitor costing data, to prepare and administer department payroll and to assist with management of fiscal/office activities. The work is performed under the direction of the Highway Commissioner. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent, Associate Degree in Cost Accounting or related, and two years automated cost accounting experience or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities. Advanced experience using Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft office applications required.
