Landscape Laborer- 21 fulltime, temporary, seasonal (H-2B) jobs available 4/1/25 - 11/30/25.

Employer: Gould's Lawn & Landscape, Inc., 1987 Upper Turnpike, Whitehall, NY 12887.

Duties: Landscape or maintain grounds of property using hand or power tools or equipment. Workers typically perform a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following: sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering , fertilizing, digging, raking, assist with sprinkler installation and installation of mortarless segmental concrete masonry wall units. Entry level requires supervision. Must lift/carry 50 lbs., when necessary.

Employer may offer more than the stated work hours, depending on weather, business needs, and other conditions. Extreme heat, cold, rain, or drought may affect exact working hours.

Employer provides daily transport to and from work sites in Warren, Washington and Saratoga Counties from designated location: 1987 Upper Turnpike, Whitehall, NY 12887 at no cost to workers. Use of this transportation is voluntary.

No education or experience required. On-the-job training will be provided to the worker.

Work Days: Vary Monday - Friday(Sat work required when necessary), 7am-3:30pm, 40 hours/week at $19.82/hour. Possible OT at $29.73 hour. Worker may be requested to work more than the stated hours, depending on weather and other conditions. Extreme heat, cold, rain and drought may affect the exact working hours.

A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. Workers will be paid weekly on Friday.

All deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law will be made.

Employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job.

Employer guarantees to offer hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total contract period, beginning with the worker's first workday and ending on the contract end date or any extension thereof. Employer may count all hours worked, as well as any hours offered within the standard work schedule that a worker chooses to not work, up to the maximum number of daily hours on the job order.

H-2B workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees).

Transportation (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed, if the worker completes half the employment period. Return transportation will be provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer. Daily subsistence rates are $15.88/day without receipts or up to $59/day with receipts. Transportation reimbursements based on worker's actual cost, not to exceed the most economical common carrier transportation costs for the distances involved.
