Responsibilities:

Oversee the procurement process from sourcing to delivery, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services while maintaining safety, quality, and compliance standards. This is for 6 plants with responsibility for 5 buyers. 186M is the projected spend.

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost savings and operational efficiency.

  • Responsible to ensure Airfoils Segment Procurement teams compliance with all auditing agencies, FBP, Quality – AS9100 (BSI), Customer, ASAT.

  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, price, and reliability.

  • Negotiate, and/or collaborate with Category Management, contracts and agreements with supply base to secure favorable terms and conditions.

  • Oversee and align with Category Management to ensure appropriate segment coverage and support.

  • Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues or disputes that may arise.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders/customers to understand their procurement needs and requirements.

  • Stay abreast of market trends, economic factors, and regulatory changes that may impact procurement.

  • Lead and mentor the procurement team, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals.

  • Support Standardization process across the organization to identify and drive toward common policies and best practices to achieve supply continuity and cost reduction.

  • Support, as required, any procedural changes to existing company procurement policy.

  • Manage project related teams and initiatives.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, materials management, or a related field.

  • Min of 10 years’ experience in procurement in a manufacturing environment; Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience.

  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
