The Dannon Company Senior Manager, Strategy & Business Planning in White Plains, New York

The Enterprise Strategy & Transformation (ES&T) function plays a crucial role in defining and executing Danone North America's long-term growth agenda. As part of a Strategy & Business Planning team, the Senior Manager of Strategy and Business Planning will lead the development and implementation of end-to-end strategy and planning transformation initiatives. She/he will conduct strategic analyses, lead priority initiatives, and develop actionable solutions for the Danone North America business (i.e., US and Canada). The Strategy & Business Planning Senior Manager will work on a wide-breadth of enterprise projects, as well as collaborate with individual brand and functional teams, and members of the extended strategy ecosystem across Danone locally and globally. She/he will have frequent exposure to senior management and be responsible for leading high-impact projects and partnering with senior-level stakeholders. The position offers a unique opportunity to lead a wide breadth of high-value strategic projects. In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Strategy Development
    • Work with senior leaders and Strategy & Transformation teams (e.g., Analytics & Insights, Enterprise Innovation, Mission & Sustainability) to identify, evaluate and propose solutions to emerging consumer and industry trends, competitive threats and internal business performance improvement opportunities
    • Lead key strategic projects, including fact-based analysis, critical problem solving, financial model development and scenario planning to develop actionable recommendations
    • Partner with stakeholders across the organization to set the corporate strategic road map through supporting the three-year strategic planning and annual planning processes, integrating all functional areas to define a single agenda
  • Inorganic growth
    • Provide support to Noram M&A strategy, assisting with the active management of the target pipeline in partnership with global M&A, strategy & business development teams
    • Lead end-to end due diligence of potential acquisitions- including strategy alignment, business model development, stakeholder alignment, transaction documentation and cross-functional leadership
  • Enterprise Business Planning
    • Lead the cross-enterprise business planning calendar definition, driving continual improvement and increasing cross-functional collaboration and alignment to enable improved execution across a complex business environment
  • Leadership support
    • Answer key questions, support data requests and provide presentation support to the NA Leadership team, Global Strategy team, Investor Relations team, and other corporate functions

The base compensation range for this position is $135,000-$165,000 commensurate with experience.   • Strong business acumen and strategic mindset, with an ability to think across a broad system, refine questions, and develop analytical frameworks
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills, with ability to tailor to various audiences and a strong bias for action
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously- impeccable time management, organizational and prioritization skills
  • High tolerance for ambiguity and on-going change; you are comfortable working in a complex matrixed environment, proactively engaging with stakeholders across all levels of the organization
  • Learning mindset with an eye toward continuous improvement
  • A demonstrated track record of strong workstream management and delivery
  • Proven track record of influencing business decisions with fact-based insights with competitive intelligence, retail intelligence and persuasive communication to drive better business outcomes
  • You have aBachelor's degree in Business, Economics or related industry; MBA preferred
  • You have 8+ years of relevant experience, with minimum 2 years at a top-tier strategy consulting firm, in an internal strategy team or other relevant CPG industry experience (brand, commercial, finance).
