MHA of Westchester Program Director of Employment Services in White Plains, New York

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for adhering to all standards and guidelines established by applicable regulatory authorities. Responsible for meeting or exceeding contract metrics as outlined in the DCMH Scope of Services for Ongoing Integrated Supported Employment (OISE), Assisted Competitive Employment (ACE) and the ACCES-VR CRS contract. Participates in the development of the program budget and is responsible for the implementation of the adopted budget. Prepares an annual report including the evaluation of services, which provides a basis for continued planning. Follows the established agency policies and maintains appropriate professional standards. Establish and maintain a culture that is recovery-oriented and grounded in service excellence. Provide supervision, mentoring, coaching, and performance reviews for direct reports. Other designated and related duties.

Attention to detail and effective crisis intervention skills. Strong leadership and problem-solving skills. Effective management practices, including addressing interpersonal barriers and strengths in staff, empowering supervisees, and offering constructive criticism. Familiarity with and ability to use an Electronic Health Record system.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines. Achievement of program budget goals. Quality of annual reports and planning outcomes. Staff performance and development outcomes. Client satisfaction and recovery rates. Efficiency in crisis intervention and problem-solving.

Requirements: Graduate degree in a recognized mental health or human services field. At least 5 years' experience in supervisory positions with a focus on vocational services. Basic computer skills in word processing, spreadsheets, and database management. Reliability and independence in work, with an emphasis on confidentiality. Valid Driver's License and driving record satisfactory to the insurance carrier. Current New York State Defensive Driving certification. Clearance from the NYS Justice Center through fingerprinting for a Criminal History Records search. Clearance from the NYS Office of Children and Family Services for instances of child abuse and/or neglect. Legal eligibility to work in the United States.
