Robert Half is currently searching for a Commercial Litigation Attorney to join a reputable New York Law Firm.

Assignment Details

Start Date: ASAP

Pay Rate:$90+ per hour on Contract

Duration: Ongoing

Location: Remote (hybrid preferred)

Hours: 20-40 hours per week

Job Description

• Commercial Litigation counsel experienced with conducting complex legal research, developing legal strategies, drafting briefs, motions, and other legal documents, and preparing for / assisting with depositions and trials.

• Ability to assist with general corporate/contract drafting matters and due diligence also a plus as it will provide additional opportunities for a candidate to work hours if/when billable tax hours in each week are limited.

Qualifications

• 7+ Years of experience as a Commercial Litigation Attorney.

• Prior experience preparing for trials.

• Must have an active bar licensure in the State of New York.

• Must be able to commute to the office in White Plains if needed.

Requirements • Must hold a valid license to practice law.

• Proficient in 3M and Adobe Acrobat.

• Experience with case management software is desirable.

• Knowledge of Conveyancer software, document management, and briefing.

• Skills in civil litigation and claim administration are required.

• Capable of efficiently handling complaints.

• Familiarity with consumer electronics is a plus.

• Experience in dealing with accident benefits cases.

• Expertise in commercial litigation.

• Proven track record in various types of litigation.
