Title:Associate Attorney (Intellectual Property / Litigation)Job Site:White Plains, NYCompany:Leason Ellis LLPDuties:Research, analyze, evaluate, and distil case law, statutes, regulations, and documents impacting the firm’s clients. Draft pleadings, motions, and briefs and otherwise communicate (both orally and in writing) with clients, courts, and counsel regarding the firm’s clients. Prepare discovery and respond to requests (admissions, disclosures, interrogatories, depositions, and orders). Organize, manage, and leverage information and documents acquired from multiple sources during multidistrict and other complex litigation. Attend and manage hearings, trials, mediations, settlement conferences, and court proceedings.Requirements:Doctor of Law (JD) degree or related and two (2) years’ experience as Associate Attorney, Attorney, Associate or in a related position. Experience must include: Intellectual Property and Patent Litigation; litigation process for generics and biosimilars; negotiating and drafting agreements; analyzing technologies and comparing them with patents for a patent infringement analysis.
