Under the general supervision of the COA Director & direct supervision of the Programs & Community Relations Supervisor, assists in planning and overseeing the socialization and activities at community meal sites and other satellite meal locations. This position works in conjunction with the Meal Site Cook.

Examples of Duties

1. Greets and maintains friendly relationships with clients who attend the various COA meal sites. 
2. In conjunction with the Meal Site Cook, provides a client-centered and appealing atmosphere.
3. Assists in serving lunch to community meal participants as needed.
4. Maintains records of site participants, including the annual client demographic information for reporting, as required by funding agencies. Assists in counting/recording daily community meal donations. Collects, records and submits any payments and signup sheets for recreational trips to their supervisor.
5. Assists in planning and coordinating activities that bring joy to the participants and to enhance their quality of life.
