Royal Credit Union Marketing Communications Intern - White Bear Lake-DF1932 in White Bear Lake, Minnesota

Needs to be located in the Minneapolis, MN area. All applicants must include a resume, cover letter, transcript and their anticipated graduation date when submitting an application. If selected for the internship, you must be able to commit to the full 12 months, and be enrolled with a University or Technical College throughout the length of the internship.Please Note: We will begin reviewing and prescreening applicants starting on September 10, 2024, and will continue this process through the duration of the Fall Career Fairs we are attending. Communication regarding next steps, including interviews, will begin the week of October 14, 2024.Description:The Marketing Communications Intern will provide overall support to the Marketing team through the coordination and implementation of our overall content strategy and social media strategy for Royal and its subsidiary brands. They are responsible for assisting with multiple marketing initiatives as it relates to overall marketing strategies, key success factors, and corporate goals for Royal Credit Union.Work Schedule:Working approximately 15-20 hours per week during the school year and up to 40 hours per week during the summer.This is a limited term, non-benefit eligible position that will start May 2024, and will go through May 2025.Hourly Wage:$19.28 - $21.59(Candidates with significant related experience may be higher)Training:Prior to starting a normal work schedule, new Royal team members must attend Foundation Training at our Corporate Center in Eau Claire, WI from 9:00am - 4:30pm on Monday and Tuesday during their first week of employment. Out of town learners will be reimbursed costs related to travel and lodging.Foundation Training covers fundamental information about Royals culture and core values which sets the stage for team members to be successful within our organization.Requirements:Enrolled in a University or Technical College program related to Marketing, Digital Marketing, Social Media, Communications, or similar field.Experience working in Canva or Adobe Creative Cloud.Understanding of all social media channels, and the differences of each. This is including but not limited to: Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Pinterest.Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office products.Ability to work independently.Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and written communication skills.Strong work ethic.Experience with marketing computer software.Flexible work schedule.Willingness to learn on the job and share experiences with other members of the team.Work efficiently in a high-volume environment with multiple deadlines and changing priorities.Equal Opportunity Employer - minorities/females/veterans/individuals with disabilities/sexual orientation/gender identity
