Our client in the manufacturing industry is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join their team. As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance department supporting the production operations. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, experience in electrical and electronic systems, and a willingness to work in a team environment.

Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Technician

Location: Whitakers, NC

What's the Job?

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on completely automated transfer lines, CNC, or Assembly equipment to support daily production operations

• Troubleshoot and perform all required mechanical maintenance on automated equipment

• Perform any minor mechanical work which may be required and ensure a machine availability goal of 95% or higher is met

• Actively participate in the Skills Training Program for continuing skills improvement

• Follow all company safety practices and procedures, including lockout/tagout

What's Needed?

• Demonstrated troubleshooting skills in solving problems with electrical and electronic systems

• Four years of applicable experience as a qualified repair person in trouble-shooting and repair of electrical systems, relay, PLC, and CNC controls for machine repair or machine building and maintenance

• Proven experience in the use of electronic test equipment, oscilloscopes, megohmmeters, multimeters, signal generators, logic probes, etc.

• Have a thorough understanding of ladder diagrams/logic and competent in the programming and trouble-shooting of Modicon and Allen Bradley programmable controllers

• Experienced in running conduit, wire sizing, and installation requirements and codes of the N.E.C. and JIC
