Maintenance Manager

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

The Maintenance Manager carries out the directives of the Operations Director with the responsibilities of monitoring and maintaining the condition of the RNS buildings, grounds, vehicles and equipment to ensure that each workspace is safe, functional, and in compliance with agency policies and/or licensure requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School diploma or GED required; Associate degree or apprenticeship in maintenance, building trade or other related preferred; Prefer a minimum of five (5) years' experience in construction, building, vehicle, and/or electronics maintenance with a demonstrated pattern of progressively more managerial responsibility and/or assignments and competency in maintenance duties.

Must be able to move at least 50 pounds on a regular basis, ascend/descend ladders to access roofs and other areas, and walk on elevated and uneven surfaces. Other physical demands may include: standing for long periods of time, repeating the same movements, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, or crawling.

Must have experience in the operation and maintenance of power equipment and tools, heavy and light machinery (including vehicles), electronic hardware, and building materials.

Must be competent or willing to become competent in computer applications including but not limited to: email, word processing, spreadsheets, and maintenance related software.

Must be able to read and comprehend technical manuals, instructions, blueprints, and drawings. Must possess good attention to detail and efficient problem-solving skills.

Must possess effective communication and interpersonal skills and maintain positive working relationships with all levels of team members, clients, vendors, and outside contractors.

RESPONSIBILITIES & FUNCTIONS:

Performs routine and preventative repairs and maintenance on facilities, vehicles, equipment, and technology. Completes assessments of facilities, vehicles, and equipment using approved checklists, updating checklists as needs arise or repairs are completed. Completes paperwork and documentation as required. Completes all other tasks as assigned that are consistent with the skills of the person and best characterized by the position. ADDITONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Valid driver's license required; must maintain an appropriate driving record and be insurable under agency insurance. Successful completion of CIB background and Protective Services check required. Must be able and willing to work outside of normal business hours Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: From $17-20 per hour
