We are in search of an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in WHEATON, Illinois. This role involves a variety of financial tasks, primarily focusing on accounts receivable, collections, and payroll. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity, perfect for individuals looking to expand their experience in the finance industry.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the processing of customer credit applications, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Maintain comprehensive and accurate customer credit records.

• Handle customer inquiries, providing prompt and professional responses.

• Manage the accounts receivable function, ensuring all payments are recorded and reconciled.

• Carry out collections tasks, following up on overdue accounts and arranging payment plans.

• Process payroll in a timely and accurate manner.

• Utilize financial software such as Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP to perform tasks.

• Regularly use Microsoft Excel for data entry and financial reporting.

• Employ skills in Account Reconciliation and Cash Collections to manage and reconcile customer accounts.

• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary action in case of discrepancies or issues.

Requirements • Possession of a minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related field.

• Mastery of account reconciliation techniques.

• Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) management.

• Ability to handle billing processes efficiently.

• Experience in cash applications and cash collections.

• Knowledge of commercial collections procedures.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis.

• Experience with Oracle for database management.

• Familiarity with QuickBooks for financial management.

• Proficiency in SAP for enterprise resource planning.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
