Job Description

Insight Global's client is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to provide support for utility-scale projects within the renewable energy sector near Wheatland, Indiana. This individual will be responsible for assisting the Project Manager with overall project obligations and supporting the development of budgets, schedules, strategy, procurement, design packages, and negotiations. Additional Responsibilities will include facilitating communication with internal leadership, assisting with schedule and field safety management, and partnering with the Project Manager to assist with project updates, tracking financial obligations, resolving vendor-related issues, and managing client relationships to ensure successful project execution.

Skills and Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree

• 2-4 years of general contracting or construction management experience

• Ability to temporarily relocate or travel to assigned project site

• Experience with computer programs such as Viewpoint, Procore, MS Project, and MS Office

• Ability to read, interpret, and apply IFC drawings and job specifications for civil and electrical work - Background in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Construction Management

• Experience Working on Solar or Renewable Energy Construction sites

• First Aid / CPR Certified

• OSHA Certification null
