Brian Patten Associates Human Resources Benefits Administrator in Wexford, Pennsylvania

The HR Benefits Administrator, will perform benefit administration, employee relations, billing and reconciliation, and development and implementation of policies and procedures in accordance with the mission, core values, and purposes of the organization.   More specifically, the HR Benefits Administrator will:

  • Effectively communicate with all levels of clientele, from the entry level employees to leadership team members of both clients and broker offices in both written and verbal form in both English and Spanish.
  • Apply time management skills to effectively manage a book of business consisting of multiple clients across all industries ranging in size and complexity.
  • Provide support for employees having benefit questions or problems regarding their medical coverage.
  • Process employee benefits plans and serve as liaison to companies contracted with to provide benefits.
  • Maintain constant communication in both English and Spanish with executive leadership from our clients who prefer to communicate in their native language.
  • Creation of billing invoices and ability to audit vendor invoices against benefit portal information.
  • Assists with employee relations issues such as new hires, qualifying life events, leave of absence and terminations.
  • Assists with ongoing maintenance of personnel files and records retention policies and procedures.
  • Prepare a variety of complex reports and data for various departments and agencies.
  • Translate a variety of documents including but not limited to employee benefits guides, summary plan descriptions, and employee-facing documents.
  • Facilitates and/or provides employee training (skills based and/or compliance) and orientations to the workforce and/or management as needed in both English and Spanish.

Candidates must have Bachelor's degree or higher in a Human Resources Management or a closely related degree.  Due to high volume of communication with Spanish speaking employees, candidate must be able to communicate verbally and in writing fluently in English and Spanish.  Position is located in Wexford, PA. On site required.
