Overview

As theSales and Marketing Integration Manager for New Acquisitions, you will be responsible for leading the strategic integration of sales, sales operations, business development, and marketing functions following mergers, acquisitions, or other business expansions. You will play a critical role in aligning sales and marketing strategies, processes, and teams to drive revenue growth, enhance brand positioning, and maximize market share. You will also be a key member of the team implementing growth strategies and working with clients to increase market share.

Responsibilities

Integration Planning and Strategy:

+ + Develop and implement comprehensive integration plans for sales and marketing functions in alignment with overall business objectives.

  • Assess existing sales and marketing processes, systems, and organizational structures to identify opportunities for integration and optimization.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, sales operations, marketing, operations, and finance, to define integration goals, milestones, and success criteria.

  • Develop communication plans to keep stakeholders informed throughout the integration process, managing expectations and facilitating change management efforts.

    Team Alignment and Collaboration:

    • Facilitate communication and collaboration between sales, sales operations, marketing, estimating and legal teams to foster a unified approach and shared objectives.
  • Conduct workshops, training sessions, and team-building activities to promote cross-functional understanding and alignment.

  • Establish clear roles, responsibilities, and accountability measures to ensure seamless coordination and execution of integrated sales, estimating and marketing initiatives.

    Sales Operations Integration

    • Work with Sales Operations team and estimators at acquired companies to implement CRM and other systems to ensure opportunities, proposals and orders are properly and timely recognized.
  • Implement Sales Operations processes for order processing in Zendesk and Vista ERP.

  • Assist in the implementation of client contract review and execution processes.

    Sales and Business Development

    • Collaborate with leadership and local BD/Estimating teams to develop growth strategies for local dispatch centers.
  • Develop relationships with new clients in dispatch center’s service areas to grow revenues with new general contractor and local/state highway departments.

  • Work with local and state highway departments to develop maintenance MSA’s for Roadway Services (guardrail, fence, road signage, traffic control, etc.) for local dispatch centers.

  • Develop strategy for capturing guardrail repairs for insurance claims related to traffic incidents. Work with dispatch centers, local/state police, and insurance companies to develop MSA’s for insurance claims.

  • Work closely with dispatch centers to ensure continuity in sales operations during the integration process, minimizing disruptions and maintaining customer satisfaction.

    • Identify opportunities for synergy between the acquired entities and existing sales and business development functions, leveraging best practices and shared resources.

    Marketing Integration

    • Collaborate with marketing teams and assist in the development of lead generation programs, promotional campaigns, and content marketing initiatives to drive demand and pipeline growth.
  • Work closely with estimating and marketing teams to develop targeted messaging, value propositions, and go-to-market strategies for key customer segments.

    Brand Integration and Positioning:

    • Implement brand transitions for vehicles, letterhead, business cards, etc.
  • Work closely with marketing teams and assist in the implementation of integrated marketing communications plans, advertising campaigns, and brand activation strategies to strengthen brand awareness and equity.

    Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

    • Monitor and track the performance of integrated sales and marketing initiatives against predefined objectives, targets, and benchmarks.
  • Generate regular reports, dashboards, and analyses to provide insights into key performance metrics, trends, and areas for improvement.

  • Present findings, recommendations, and progress updates to senior management and stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making and course corrections as needed.

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Proven experience in commercial sales and marketing, preferably in the context of mergers, acquisitions, or corporate restructuring.

  • Strong understanding of sales and marketing principles, strategies, and best practices across various industries and market segments.

  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage complex projects, and deliver results on time and within budget.

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute integrated sales and marketing plans that drive revenue growth and market expansion.

  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis, market research, and performance measurement.

  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence clients and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  • Proficiency in CRM systems, marketing automation platforms, and other sales and marketing tools and technologies.

    Salary range: $107,000 - $145,000 per year.
