Our client, a large national bank, is looking for a Powershell & SQL Automation Engineer to join their operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for helping to automate all of their operations utilizing Powershell scripts. You will also need to have strong working knowledge of writing MS SQL queries.

The ideal candidate has some SRE based experience, 4+ years as a Windows System Engineer, and loves all things automation. The team has a massive footprint in Powershell so they need someone who has almost exclusively Powershell experience, some C# is nice to have. Tech wise, they need someone strong with Windows, Powershell, MS SQL, and ServiceNow database management.

This is a hybrid (3 days onsite) position in Plano or Westlake, Texas. It is a year long contract with a pay rate of $50-55/hr. Required Skills & Experience

• Experience automating system operations using Powershell.

• Experience working and automating in secure environments.

• Experience working as a Windows System Engineer.

• Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills.

• Knowledge of ServiceNow database change management.

• SQL query writing experience.

Desired Skills & Experience

• 4+ years of Windows System Engineering experience, 1+ year in SRE.

• Certificate Management Experience good to have.

• PowerBI, Java, Tomcat, and/or C# experience nice to have.

The Offer
