1 Job Locations Remote - U.S. Category Accounting and Finance Overview The Financial Systems Administrator 4 is responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining financial systems. What you will be doing Create and manage projects involving complex installations, upgrades and modernization of financial systems Respond to and resolve requests and issues related to complex financial systems Operate as a trusted advisor on issues and trends; provide general consulting services leveraging expertise and significant best practice knowledge Perform complex to the most complex financial systems maintenance Develop standards for internal documentation to ensure consistency and adherence to process; compose documentation that reflects processes and requirements for financial systems Operate as an innovative thought leader; contribute significantly to the overall growth and quality of the department through knowledge sharing and coaching on current best practices and market trends Identify need to implement additional functionality in current systems and for new technology purchases Create and present proposals on technical specifications and requirements for purchasing of new financial systems Mentor, coach, train, and provide feedback to other team members; provide feedback to leadership on abilities of team Comply with all corporate and departmental privacy and data security policies and practices, including but not limited to, Hyland's Information Systems Security Policy What will make you successful Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Significant experience and expertise in systems administration 8 years of Experience with accounting or financial reporting Microsoft Windows and Office proficient Excellent oral and written communications skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with executive presence Excellent interpersonal skills; able to maintain solid rapport with team members as well as maintain professionalism with those outside of department Excellent collaboration skills, applied successfully within team as well as with all levels of employees in other areas Excellent analytical thinking and problem solving skills Ability to work outside of normal business hours (evenings, weekends, etc.) Excellent attention to detail Self-motivated with the ability to manage projects to completion independently Ability to provide guidance and support to developing team members Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Operating systems and products Excellent knowledge of GAAP accounting standards, financial statements and internal controls Excellent knowledge of systems administration Up to 5% travel time required Based on individual states' employment laws, the following details are to comply with the relevant salary posting requirements: base salary range of $100,000-122,000 and eligible for bonus and benefits What you can expect next Hyland Recruiters thoroughly review every application and will contact you within 1 to 2 weeks regarding next steps.
