Weld Instructor

Job Description

Seeking a Weld Instructor to develop curriculum and learning approaches for a formal Welding Institute. The ideal candidate will focus on practical solutions to enhance welder quality and efficiency, review welding-related contract requirements, manage PQR/WPS qualification processes, and assign welders and WPSs based on job needs. Additionally, the role involves working individually and with teams to analyze root causes of weld failures, maintaining welder qualification records, reviewing RFQs, spending time on the production floor to optimize processes, and researching new technology acquisitions. The candidate will also promote a culture of safety, welfare, wellness, and health among team members.

Qualifications

  • CWI or CWE certification

  • Experience with weld curriculum development

  • Proficiency in reviewing and understanding blueprints, welding joint designs, and NDE/NDT

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position.
