Day to Day/Responsibilities:

A client of Insight Global is looking for a Senior Project Manager (Sr. PM) who will play a pivotal role in leading the successful execution of large-scale water and wastewater treatment plant construction projects. This position requires deep expertise in the unique complexities of these facilities, with a minimum of 10 years of relevant project management experience. The Sr. PM will oversee all aspects of project delivery, from pre-construction planning to close-out, ensuring alignment with budget, schedule, and quality standards. In addition to technical expertise, the Sr. PM will be responsible for fostering a team culture that reflects the company's core values: transparency, integrity, accountability, respectfulness, and a winning attitude. By modeling these values, the Sr. PM will build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams while driving project success.

Responsibilities:

 Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Leadership: Direct the planning and execution of water and wastewater treatment plant construction projects, managing schedules, budgets, and resources effectively.

2. Client and Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact, ensuring consistent communication, issue resolution, and client satisfaction.

3. Team Building: Foster collaboration among cross-functional teams, mentor project staff, and promote professional growth within the organization.

4. Risk and Compliance: Identify risks early, implement mitigation strategies, and ensure all work adheres to safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

5. Culture Champion: Lead by example, promoting a workplace culture rooted in transparency, integrity, accountability, respectfulness, and a winning attitude.

 Key Deliverables for the First 6-12 Months:

1. Company and Project onboarding and analysis (first 60 days)

 Conduct comprehensive review of upcoming project.

 Develop detailed understanding of project risks and mitigation plans.

 Meet with key stakeholders, clients, and team members to establish rapport and gather insights.

2.  Project execution excellence (ongoing, with measurable outcomes at 90 days and 6 months)

 Achieve the first major project milestone within first 90 days.

 Demonstrate sustained project progress by maintaining schedule and budget compliance at the 6-month mark.

 Present a success story for at least one project phase at the 12-month mark.

3.  Client and stakeholder relationships (first 30-90 days, ongoing thereafter)

 Build initial trust and relationships with key clients and stakeholders within the first 30 days.

 Deliver clear and consistent project updates by the 90-day mark.

 Serve as the go-to resource for clients and stakeholders for at least one project by 6 months.

4. Team development and leadership (first 90 days, ongoing thereafter)

 Assess team strengths and gaps by the 60-day mark.

 Begin providing mentorship and guidance to at least one team member by the end of 90 days.

 Demonstrate measurable improvement in team performance or collaboration by the 6-month mark.

 Cultivate a strong team aligned with company values by the 12-month mark.

5. Process improvement (identify by 90 days; implement by 6 months)

 Evaluate project management processes and propose at least one improvement by the end of 90 days.

 Implement and measure the success of at leasat one improvement by 6 months.

6. Cultural alignment and core values (ongoing, with measurable impact by 6 months)

 Actively promote and model core values from day one.

 Address cultural misalignments and strengthen team alignment within the first 3-6 months.

 Be recognized by leadership and peers as a cultural leader by the 12-month mark.

7. Safety and compliance (immediate and ongoing)

 Conduct or oversee initial safety audits within the first 30 days.

 Ensure full compliance with safety and regulatory standards throughout all projects.

 Achieve 100% safety compliance milestones within 6 months and maintain this standard.

8. Financial outcomes (evaluate and show progress by 6 months; demonstrate impact by 12 months)

 Assess current project budgets and profitability within the first 90 days.

 Maintain or improve profitability for ongoing projects by the 6-month mark.

 Present measurable financial contributions to leadership by the 12-month mark.

SALARY: 130K

Skills and Requirements

Must Haves:

 Degree in Civil, construction, engineering or related field OR equivalent experience

 10+ Years of experience as a PM managing water and wastewater treatment

 Knowledge of safety regulations, OSHA, Quality standards

 Demonstrated success managing multi-million-dollar project budgets and meeting aggressive schedules.

 Experience serving as the primary point of contact for clients, with excellent communication and conflict resolution skills. Plusses:

 Experience with design-build or alternative delivery methods.

 Familiarity with construction management software like Procore, Primavera P6, or equivalent tools.

 Experience leading process improvement initiatives and managing change within an organization.

 Ability to foster strong relationships with diverse stakeholders, including local agencies, community partners, and regulatory bodies.

 Demonstrated ability to promote and embody core values in previous roles. null
