Vertiv Corporation Video Producer Specialist in Westerville, Ohio

The Video Producer Specialist is responsible for creating engaging video and multimedia content and telling stories that resonate with Vertiv's target audiences. The role manages and executes projects from pre-production to final delivery for thought leadership content, product/service/solution announcements, marketing programs, event coverage, community engagement, and internal communications. The outputs will be featured across the Vertiv.com website, social media channels, live events, and intranet. Examples include live town halls, customer testimonials, highlights of facilities, product/solution stories, and event coverage highlights (internal, external, tradeshows). The position is within the creative services teams, part of the corporate marketing center of excellence, and is based at Vertiv's global headquarters in Westerville, Ohio. You will manage all aspects of video production, including pre-production planning, shooting, editing, and post-production for the assigned projects. In addition, you will collaborate with others within creative services or trusted partners for more complex shoots, including working with 3D and 2D animators, graphic designers and other creative professionals to enrich the final outputs. RESPONSIBILITIES * Collaborate with the content writing services team, creative services, and internal clients across the business to develop video concepts and scripts. Aim to bring innovative ideas and approaches to the pipeline to increase the positioning of Vertiv as an industry leader within the critical digital infrastructure space and enable differentiation. * Manage pre-production activities including location scouting, internal approvals, speaker/talent preparation in coordination with the content team, and scheduling. * Execute all aspects of video production, including shooting, editing, and post-production, with support from others in the creative services department for complex shoots. Includes coordination and delegation to multimedia designers for post-production activities when required due to the volume or complexity of the edits. Final products should comply with published brand standards for Vertiv and follow the established workflows of the Vertiv editorial calendar publishing process. * Store source files and finished collateral in the designated repository for publishing and archiving, ensuring other marketers can leverage the efforts. Maintain and organize video production equipment and resources. * Track projects and tasks using the Vertiv marketing collaboration system (Wrike and VEC); provide timely updates to stakeholders and management. * Provide photography and video coverage for internal events, such as town halls, leadership conferences, or sales summits, and external events, such as tradeshows or investor events. Empower social media teams and internal communications team to broadcast participation in key events with effective visuals and multimedia. QUALIFICATIONS * 2-4 years of professional experience executing video production in a business-to-business environment, in an agency or in-house setting. * Must have a BA/BS degree or equivalent design experience (Outstanding portfolio and direct work experience may be considered as a substitute for a degree.) * Expert understanding of Adobe Premiere Pro or other non-linear editing software. * Intermediate capabilities with Adobe After Effects or similar motion graphics software. * Knowledge of live sound capture for video production and intermediate experience in audio mixing for video projects. * Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation, and continuity in video/multimedia. * Understanding art fundamentals, including color theory, composition, rhythm, and balance. * Portfolio of work must include: * Video editing reel, with long-fApply here: https://www.aplitrak.com/?adid=YmJnZW5lcmljLjc1MDExLjEwNTA4QHZlcnRpdmNvbXAuYXBsaXRyYWsuY29t
