Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Systems Administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in systems administration, network management, and IT infrastructure. They will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting our IT systems to ensure the highest levels of availability, performance, and security. Responsibilities: Systems Management: Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, networks, and other IT infrastructure. Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure. Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability. Security: Implement and manage security solutions to protect systems and data from cyber threats. Conduct regular security assessments and audits. Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues. Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical support. Backup and Recovery: Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies. Ensure data integrity and availability through regular backups and testing of recovery procedures. Network Management: Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure. Monitor network performance and optimize efficiency and reliability. Manage VPNs, firewalls, routers, and switches. Project Management: Lead and participate in IT projects, ensuring timely and successful completion. Collaborate with other departments to understand their IT needs and provide solutions. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of systems, processes, and procedures. Generate regular reports on system performance, incidents, and improvements. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in systems administration or a similar role Knowledge of various methodologies for analyzing and documenting requirements and business processes Familiarity with networking and security in a cloud environment. Advanced understanding of Windows Server. Working knowledge of Azure AD, M365, Intune Solid networking understanding, including DNS, DHCP, IP addressing and routing. Strong knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) a plus. Proven experience with server virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.) Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong project management skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
