Description Payroll Clerk III

Immediate opening for a Payroll Clerk to work onsite 3 days in Westerville, OH and 2 days remotely

The Payroll Clerk will work Monday through Friday 8:30a-5p

The duties of the Payroll clerk will include:

-Inputs data from time sheets production records or individual time cards to computerized payroll system.

-Also responsible for balancing payroll runs producing federal state and local tax payments and answering employee questions and troubleshooting issues.

-Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent with 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

-Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts practices and procedures payroll.

The minimum qualifications for Payroll Clerk are:

-High School diploma or equivalent

-2-3 years of experience processing high volume payroll

-2-3 years experience in payroll department working with child support and garnishments Requirements Procedures, Payroll, Payment Processing, Supervising, Production, Troubleshoot, Payroll Functions, Practices, Time Sheets, Time Cards, Local Tax, Independent Judgment
