POSITION SUMMARY The Director of Global Labor Relations will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of labor relations within the company. This role requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in labor law, collective bargaining, conflict resolution, and strategic labor relations management. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of labor laws and regulations, and a proven track record of effectively managing labor relations in a large, publicly traded organization. This position will be located at our Corporate HQ's in Westerville. Ohio. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Strategic Leadership: * Develop and implement the company's labor relations strategy in alignment with organizational goals and objectives. * Provide strategic counsel to senior management on labor relations issues, including collective bargaining, union negotiations, and conflict resolution. * Employee Relations: * Handle all facets of employee relations, including investigations and resolutions to employment disputes. * Proactively leads and drives positive employee relations programs and action planning across the country. * Provide employee relations support, guidance and direction to the HR organization and business leaders, with a particular emphasis on the administration of policies and compliance programs. * Union Relations and Negotiations: * Lead negotiations and manage relationships with labor unions and employee representatives. * Oversee the preparation and administration of collective bargaining agreements. * Address and resolve labor disputes and grievances in a timely and effective manner. * Compliance and Risk Management: * Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations. * Monitor and assess potential risks related to labor relations and develop strategies to mitigate them. * Policy Development and Implementation: * Develop, review, and update labor relations policies and procedures. * Ensure that company policies are communicated effectively to employees and management. * Team Management: * Lead and mentor a team of labor relations professionals. * Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the labor relations team. * Stakeholder Engagement: * Act as a liaison between the company and external labor relations stakeholders, including regulatory agencies and industry groups. * Represent the company in labor relations forums, conferences, and other industry events. Qualifications: * Education: * Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
