Amazon Software Dev Engineer II, Amazon Robotics in Westborough, Massachusetts

Description

The candidate will work closely with applied scientists to build infrastructure for managing deep learning models. This will include training and fine-tuning models and deploying them to edge devices.

Key job responsibilities

A day in the life

As an experienced Software Development engineer, you will build and own software related to maintaining the worlds largest fleets of robotic and saftey system hardware. You will work with a team of world-class software developers who thrive on creating innovative and scalable solutions for real-world challenges. You will build, validate, and support continuous integration and continuous delivery solutions to collect, enrich and vend robotic telemetry. You will get to build the way you want using the full library of AWS technologies!

Basic Qualifications

  • 4+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience

  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience architecting and developing in the AWS cloud.

  • Some familiarity with Deep Learning models for perception

  • Experience building data pipelines and infrastructure for ML systems
