Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Supervise, monitor, and evaluate all day-to-day accounting activities.

• Develop and implement systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying and reporting financial information.

• Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.

• Manage and oversee the continuous improvement of accounting operations and automated accounting systems.

• Coordinate and complete annual audits.

• Meet financial accounting objectives.

• Prepare and present financial reports and risk analysis.

• Monitor and confirm financial condition by conducting audits and providing information to external auditors.

• Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.

• Develop and lead the internal audit team.

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• 5+ years of experience in a leadership role in Accounting or Finance.

• Advanced knowledge of accounting and financial business processes.

• Working knowledge of Finance ERP software.

• Strong Excel skills.

• Excellent understanding of the financial close cycle and report writing capabilities.

• Strong leadership skills with a proficiency in mentoring and coaching.

• Proven track record of leading a team to meet deadlines and provide accurate financial information.

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) preferred.

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
